Evidence Finder

Scottish Government and its Agencies collect, analyse and publish equality evidence across a wide range of policy areas. Using the Evidence Finder below you can find this evidence in three ways:

  • by equality characteristic – click on the characteristic you are interested in
  • by policy area – click on the name of the policy area you are interested in
  • by policy area and equality characteristic - for example religion and culture, by clicking on the relevant intersection below.

The equality evidence is updated twice a year, where new evidence is available, and was last updated in November 2017. The Equality Evidence Strategy was released in July 2017.

Alternative navigation

This information can also be searched using the menu on the left hand side. If you select one of the equality characteristics you will then be able to navigate to each of the policy pages which contain information by that characteristic.
